Discuss the problems that the main character faces within your book. What do those problems look like? Is it an external problem, internal problem, or both? What causes the problem? How is the problem being solved...or is it not? Are other characters apart of the problem? Is this problem getting worse or better as you read?
Please explain yourself as if I have not read the book in no less than EIGHT sentences.
Its Sals first day of senior year. Sal is very uncertain about being adopted into a mexican american family not only that but he has 2 gay fathers. He think just because he has a best friend that know everything it would save him lot of work and worry. Sal often put his self down not thinking he is good enough. Sal's best friend sam had a good attitude about starting senior year. Then there is the point in the book where they call fa****. Sal goes off on the bully and ends up punching him. Sal and his dad had a talk in his room about how it does not even matter what they call him. Then they go to school and have a talk with the principle that all I have gotten to so far.
